Eddie Fadal's Hall of Fame

It would be safe to say that Eddie considered Elvis to be the most celebrated of his well known acquaintances. Eddie's life as a journalist afforded him the opportunity to meet many other stars and celebrities as well as political leaders. On this page you will find a few which he was proud to have known.

This photo of Eddie and Clyde McPhatter was taken in 1955, backstage, at the Heart of Texas Coliseum in Waco.

   

Eddie spent some time with Geraldo Rivera. This photo was taken on August 17, 1979, in Tupelo Mississippi at the dedication of the Elvis Memorial Chapel.

Taken at the Lowes Anatole Hotel in Dallas, at the opening of a new club, on August 6, 1980. Dorothy was 1980's playmate of the year. She was murdered by her estranged husband ten days after this photo was taken.

Taken in 1981 in Nashville, Eddie is with Billie Jo Spears and Lamar Fike. Lamar Fike was country singer, Billie Jo's manager. Lamar was an 'apostle' of the king, lived at Graceland and traveled with Elvis for many years.

Eddie was helping his cousin Rollin Khoury in his bid for office the day this photo was taken with Governor William Clements. We believe it was taken during the late '70s.

Eddie lends his support to U. S. Congressman Chet Edwards. This photo was taken in the early '90s at Fort Fisher, in Waco, Texas.

Eddie thought very highly of Governor Ann Richards, who is also a Wacoan. When Eddie passed away, Governor Richards thoughtfully sent our family her personal condolences. This photo is from the early 90's.

 

This photo of Eddie and Danny Thomas was taken in 1961 in Los Angeles on the set of "Make Room For Daddy".
